Wedding photography at Laurel Hall is truly a unique experience. I had the privilege of photographing three couples and a solo bride at Laurel Hall, and each session was about capturing the love between my clients and the grandiose of Laurel Hall. The couples were all so in love and happy, and the solo bride radiated glamor and grace. But more than the grandeur of the setting, it was the kindness of everyone involved that most stood out to me. Michaela Slagel’s Bridal Portraits
When we think of luxury weddings, visions of opulent decor, couture dresses, and extravagant florals come to mind. But in this bridal shoot at Laurel Hall in Indianapolis, all my focus was on the one element that truly makes a wedding luxurious: The bride herself.
The moment Michaela stepped out in her gorgeous gown, I knew I was going to get some stunning shots. And that is exactly what happened! She looked so regal, floating around the mansion in her billowing dress. Whether posing on the grand wooden staircases or roaming the halls of the historic mansion, Michaela’s stunning beauty shines through in every picture. I shot in a few different locations inside the mansion, and each one was simply breathtaking.
Clay And Ali’s Elopement
Clay and Ali’s elopement photography was super fun. The couple had a beautiful glow on their faces as they smiled and kissed while getting their portraits taken. It was so much fun capturing their love in such a beautiful setting. And the 56 Classic Limo was a phenomenal addition to their portraits. From the bride’s dress and the stunning bridal bouquet to the vintage car – every detail of their elopement was perfect. Their love was always on display, and I couldn’t help but smile with them as I photographed their special day. It was an honor to capture these memories for them.
Riley And Luke’s Wedding
Photographing Riley and Luke Nordstrom’s wedding day at Laurel Hall in Indianapolis was a true luxury wedding experience. The couple was absolutely amazing and so lovely to work with. It was such a privilege to capture the couple basking in the glory of being newlyweds! Their portraits on the balcony were simply stunning, with the wind blowing and the sprawling trees in the background – all of it looked no less than a real-life fairy tale.
Phoenix And Nick’s Engagement Session
Phoenix and Nick’s engagement session was absolutely magnificent, and the couple was so much fun to work with. They were giggling the whole time and were just so incredibly romantic throughout their photo shoot. I loved how they were constantly making each other laugh. Phoenix and Nick looked absolutely stunning against the backdrop of the historic mansion. It was such a pleasure to photograph them in the balcony, and the other locations outside, and I’m so happy with how the photos turned out.
Also, it makes me so happy to see couples who are so totally in love and so filled with joy, and Phoenix and Nick definitely were. I found out after the shoot that they are also Christ followers, which was awesome! I love meeting other people who are brothers and sisters in Christ.
