Hey there!

I’m Erika, a luxury St. Louis wedding photographer and senior photographer serving couples and seniors throughout Missouri and beyond. I specialize in creating timeless, emotional imagery that preserves not only how your wedding day or senior session looked, but how it felt.

Because photography is so much more than photographs.

It’s preserving your legacy.

It’s telling your story.

It’s remembering the people you love and the moments that pass far too quickly.

Whether I’m documenting a luxury wedding in St. Louis, an engagement session at the Missouri Botanical Garden, senior photos in Forest Park, or a destination wedding across the country, my goal is always the same:

To create photographs that make you feel something.

To create an experience where you feel seen, known, celebrated, and cared for.

At Erika Rene Photography, my mission is deeply rooted in my faith and my passion for serving others.

Jesus is my reason for everything.

He is my reason for living, for loving, for creating, and for every ounce of myself that I pour into my couples, seniors, and relationships. I haven’t always known Him, but since He made Himself known to me and saved me, He has transformed every part of my life from the inside out.

It is my desire for the world to know His love and the hope, peace, and eternal life that He alone offers.

Photography is so much more than a job to me. It is my ministry. It is my art. It is the way I best love and serve people. It is the way I get to encourage, champion, and celebrate the people the Lord places in front of my camera.

One of my core values is connection. Because connection changes everything. It is our connection that allows you to feel comfortable in front of the camera. It is what creates trust. It is what allows your photographs to feel genuine and alive instead of stiff and posed.

The best images are almost never about perfect posing. They’re about trust. They’re about presence. They’re about feeling safe enough to be fully yourself.

Vulnerability is where connection begins, and I don’t mind being the one to be vulnerable first.

When I say I want to hear your story, I mean it. Not just from the surface level. I want to know what makes you uniquely you. I want to know why you chose your future spouse. I want to know what you have suffered and overcome. I want to know what breaks your heart and what lights you up with joy. I want to know what makes you come alive. I want to know what marriage means to you. I want to know what your dreams look like and what kind of legacy you hope to leave behind.

Because when I understand your story, I can tell your story. And that is where the magic lives.

My goal is for you to leave our time together feeling more loved, more beautiful, more cared for, more seen, more heard, and more known than ever before.

I want to be your cheerleader.

Whether I am serving as your St. Louis wedding photographer, your destination wedding photographer, or your St. Louis senior photographer, I want you to know that I am deeply invested in more than beautiful photographs.

I care about your marriage.

I care about your story.

I spent much of my life believing lies about my worth and my value. Jesus had other plans. He has taken ashes and made beauty. He has taken brokenness and made purpose. He has taken pain and created compassion. And because of that, I want every person who steps in front of my camera to leave feeling more confident, more beautiful, and more loved than when they arrived.

No one is too broken to be restored.

No one is too far gone to be redeemed.

No one is beyond hope.

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.”

Romans 8:28 KJV

One of my deepest hopes is that this space becomes more than a place to view photographs. I hope it becomes a place where you find encouragement. Resources for your wedding day. Guidance as you prepare for marriage. Inspiration for your senior session. Stories worth remembering. And perhaps even the reminder that you are not nearly as alone as you sometimes feel.

Please feel free to reach out and share your story with me.

I genuinely want to hear it.

I cannot wait to learn about you.

And I cannot wait to tell your story.
